Home Health Aides

Home health aides (HHA) care for people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, cognitive impairments, or age-related issues who live in their own homes rather than a nursing facility.
HHAs help with daily living activities—including providing routine healthcare and assistance with personal tasks—so clients are able to remain safely at home. Home health aides also provide basic medical services, including administering medications, changing bandages, and checking vital signs such as body temperature, pulse rate, and respiration rate.
Licensed Practical Nurses

An LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) works under the supervision of doctors and RNs, performing duties such as taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medication, ensuring patient comfort, and reporting the status of their patients to the nurses.
LPNs are on the front line of nursing, interacting directly with patients on a daily basis. They report to doctors and registered nurses and sometimes oversee CNAs. Within an organization, the overall function of a licensed practical nurse is to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Registered Nurses

A Registered Nurse (RN) is a healthcare professional who has a nursing license and is extensively trained in nursing. Registered nurses give patients medical care, educate them about their health issues, and offer emotional support. These medical professionals observe and record their patients’ conditions. They help perform diagnostic tests to make effective plans for patient care.
It’s also important for RNs to stay up-to-date with new tools and technologies to help provide the best care for patients and provide the best support for other providers.
