All professional nursing services of High Standard Home Care, Inc. are provided by Registered Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses in accordance with NY State Nursing Practice Law. All our nurses use the Standards of Practice, Standards of Professional Performance, Professional Competence, and Evidence Based Practice to provide safe and quality care.
Nursing services help clients who are managing complex medical needs or conditions. Some of the most common care services our nurses provide are:
Medication administration
Tracheotomy care
Catheter and ostomy care
Gastronomy (feeding tube) care
Respiratory treatments
Nasogastric (N-G) tube care
Ventilator care
Oversight of general health and preventative care to immediately address any new medical conditions that may arise
When our nurse comes into your home, he or she acts as your advocate. All our nurses can help you make informed decisions regarding your health, including helping you navigate a complex medical system, translating medical terms, and helping you make ethical decisions. We take that concession very seriously and are committed to earning your trust with every visit.
Private Duty Nursing Services
Private duty nursing services mean nursing services for clients who require more individual and continuous care than is available from a visiting nurse or routinely provided by the nursing staff of the hospital or skilled nursing facility. HSHC private duty nursing services are provided under the direction of the client’s Physician.
